Terms of Service

Last updated July 8, 2026 · Effective immediately

This is the terms of service for the TicketLover marketplace. Plain-English summaries are provided in italics at the start of each section.

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the TicketLover marketplace ("TicketLover", "we", "us"). By creating an account, listing a ticket, or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

These Terms apply to every visitor, buyer and seller. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the service.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account. By registering you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are responsible for keeping your credentials safe.

You may only hold one personal account. Business and ticket-broker accounts require a separate verification process described in the Seller Program Guidelines.

We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the marketplace, or pose a risk to other users — at our sole discretion.

3. The marketplace

TicketLover is a peer-to-peer marketplace. Sellers list tickets they own; buyers purchase those tickets. TicketLover is not the original issuer of the tickets and does not set their prices.

We provide the platform, payment processing, fraud monitoring, customer support and the 100% Buyer Guarantee. The legal contract for each transaction is between buyer and seller, with TicketLover acting as a limited agent for collection and delivery.

4. Buying tickets

All listed prices are per ticket in the currency shown. A transparent service fee, delivery fee and any applicable tax are displayed at checkout before payment.

Orders are final once a seller accepts them. Refunds are processed only as described under "Refunds & the Buyer Guarantee" below.

Tickets are delivered using the method shown on the listing (Mobile Transfer, E-Ticket, Instant Download or shipping). Delivery timing is generally before the event start; specific timing depends on the seller and venue rules.

5. Selling tickets

By listing a ticket you confirm that you legally own it, that the listing details are accurate, and that you can deliver it by the date specified.

TicketLover charges a flat 0% seller fee on each completed sale. Payouts are released 5 days after the event via your chosen method (bank transfer, crypto or wallet).

Failure to deliver a sold ticket is a material breach of these Terms. The seller is responsible for providing a comparable replacement, or paying the buyer's refund and any associated charges.

6. Payments

We accept Card, Bank Transfer and Crypto (BTC, ETH, USDT) at checkout. All card payments are processed through PCI-compliant systems; we never store full card numbers.

Crypto and bank transfer payments are confirmed when funds clear. Tickets are released only after confirmation.

You authorise TicketLover to charge any payment method on file for completed orders, applicable fees, and any chargebacks resulting from your actions.

7. Refunds & the Buyer Guarantee

Every order is covered by the Buyer Guarantee. You are entitled to a full refund if (a) your event is cancelled and not rescheduled, (b) your tickets turn out to be invalid, or (c) your tickets are not delivered before the event start.

Rescheduled events: your tickets stay valid for the new date by default. You may request a refund within 5 days of the reschedule announcement.

Refunds are returned to the original payment method. Card refunds usually clear within 5–10 business days; bank and crypto refunds typically within 24–72 hours.

8. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to: list tickets you do not own; use the platform to engage in fraud or money laundering; scrape or harvest data without permission; circumvent the fee structure; or interfere with other users' experience.

Violation may result in immediate account suspension, forfeiture of pending payouts, and referral to law enforcement where appropriate.

9. Intellectual property

The TicketLover name, logo, designs, software and content are the property of TicketLover Marketplace LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-transferable licence to use the service for its intended purpose.

User-generated content (reviews, listings, photos) remains owned by you, but you grant TicketLover a worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, distribute and promote it within the service.

10. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, TicketLover disclaims all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Our maximum liability for any claim is limited to the total amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Dispute resolution

We aim to resolve disputes informally first — please contact support before pursuing formal remedies. Most issues are resolved within 24 hours.

Any unresolved dispute will be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of laws principles, and submitted to binding arbitration in New York, NY.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email and in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect.

Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
